After several days of winter weather and travel delays, the mood
at the Totally Shows as they closed (Tuesday, February 7th)
yesterday was philosophical, but upbeat, said the shows organiser
Brintex.
Show director, James Murray commented: "Our exhibitors and
visitors both struggled through tough travel conditions to get to
the show, so we were delighted to hear from many of our exhibitors
that they had seen, and done business with, a good range of buyers
from across the industry."
Sunday and Monday suffered most impact from the snow.
Unsurprisingly visitor numbers for the show have been affected, but
as conditions improved, so did business at the show.
"We finished the show on just over 3,000 visitors - to whom we'd
like to say a big thank you for braving the conditions to
attend!"
Next year the show will run on 3rd, 4th and 5th February in Hall
16 at the NEC, Birmingham.
A full show review will be published shortly, once feedback from visitors and exhibitors has been collated.
